Get rockin' and rollin' with the world-famous, totally talented Naked Brothers Band! Follow the cameras as they document the show's entire first season with all the screaming fans, sold-out concerts, and exciting music videos.
Kids have a different perspective on life and stardom than most adults and Nickelodeon's The Naked Brothers Band takes kid perspective to the extreme with a mockumentary approach to chronicling the lives of young rock stars Nat and Alex Wolff and their underage band. Thirteen episodes of satire, craziness, angst, and the occasional nugget of truth find Nat and Alex in every conceivable situation from superstitious panics about the Video Music Awards; embarrassing moments like Nat's inability to speak intelligibly around fellow band member Rosalina; bouts of voice-changing that suggest the onset of puberty for Nat; awkward young love between Nat and Rosalina, Alex and his babysitter Jesse, and Alex and his new skater friend Juanita; sibling and band rivalries; and situations where stereotypes about the opposite sex are challenged. Each episode features tons of exaggerated interview footage of Nat and Alex at home as well as on the set filming their many music videos, in concert settings, and just hanging out with their friends and band members. Nat's and Alex's crazy, accordion playing dad; their high-fashion, empty-headed babysitter Jesse; nutty video director; and band members Rosalina, Thomas, David, and Qaasim add an additional layer of over-the-top comedy to this wacky portrayal of the outlandish things that young boys imagine, fear, and dream. While adults and more mature tweens are likely to find this show ridiculous and even stupid, kids ages 6 to 12 are apt to find it side-splittingly funny. --Tami Horiuchi
