1. Do I need to stick the hollow metal ring included to my iPhone 14 phone?

It depends:

----If your iPhone 14 is without case or with official MagSafe case or third party MagSafe case which has built-in magnets, you don’t need to use the metal ring included, just tap your phone directly to the magnetic mount.

----If your iPhone 14 is with non-MagSafe regular case which has no built-in magnets, you need to adhere the hollow metal ring to the OUTSIDE of your case, as the material of your case blocks the magnetic force between the magnets on the mount and the magnets insides your iPhone 14, making the magnetic attraction too weak, hence such a hollow metal ring is required to maintain a strong magnetic connection.

2. I have an iPhone 11, does this magnetic mount work with it?

----Yes, it works with iPhone 11 as well as other cell phones from Samsung, Google, Motorola, Nokia, etc. However, you have to use the hollow metal ring provided in the packaging, as the iPhone 11 and other cell phones do not have built-in magnets.

3. Will the hollow metal ring interfere with wireless charging?

----No, it won’t. Unlike the solid type metal ring which blocks the phone’s wireless charging capabilities, this hollow type metal ring DOES NOT block wireless charging capabilities. To ensure full speed charging, please use the supplied alignment templates to stick the metal ring on your case properly for precise positioning. (In case your phone model is not listed in the alignment templates, please manually line it up to test where does not affect wireless charging before you stick the metal ring.)

4. Will the 3M VHB adhesive tape attach well to my car dashboard?

----It will adhere well to any hard surface made of common ABS plastic, metal, wood or carbon fibre, but will not adhere well to leather, vinyl or soft rubbery surfaces.

---Please note that this 3M VHB adhesive tape is only one-time use, once removed, it cannot be re-mounted. If you need to pull out the base for a new position, you can use the 2 extra 3M adhesive pads included in the packaging.
