Q. Do blocked calls still ring once?
A. No, the ENF860 cuts off blocked calls before ringing. The blocked caller ID is recorded in the CALL LIST without any ringing or other indication;If it still rings once, it's because your wiring is wrong, so please correct your wiring!
Q. Is ENF860 compatible with my telephone?
A. ENF860 is compatible with all analog phones, such as regular home phones, answering machines, cordless phones, etc.
But not compatible with digital phones, such as Google Voice, usually digital phones need to be plugged into a network cable.
Q. Will the data of ENF860 be lost in case of power failure?
A. The storage devices of ENF860 are all non-volatile devices, and the data will not be lost when power off.
Q. Which mode should I make ENF860 CALL BLOCKER work in?
A. The ENF860's two modes can be switched at any time as needed.
You can let it work in one of the modes all the time; or you can switch its working mode in time slots (no data will be lost when switching modes).
For example, let the ENF860 work in BLOCK mode during the day, and switch to FAMILY mode at night or at rest to let only the numbers in the FAMILY LIST pass through.
Q. Do I need to enter a code to switch modes?
A. No code is required, just push the mode switch to the corresponding position.
Q. I am not next to the CALL BLOCKER during the call. Can I stop the call?
A. Yes, just pick up the telephone handle and press the # then 6 key on the telephone.
Q. Does the phone ring once when the CALL BLOCKER blocks spam calls?
A. No, ENF860 will cut off spam calls before your phone rings!
